Equigea's home base is in the Heart Of Central Florida. The center offers a complete range of mare and stallion services to fit the needs of the most extensive commercial breeders to the individual hobbyist.
Equigea located within Peterson and Smith Equine Reproduction Center, conducts all aspects of assisted reproduction at its 100-acre facility in Summerfield, Florida. Since inception in 1999, the center has solidified a reputation for providing the most current services the industry has to offer to our clientele. Today, Equigea offers expansive opportunities to all of our clients in the area of advanced reproduction.
All of our services are designed with flexibility in mind. Breeders can choose to have Equigea handle all the details of their breeding program, as a referral center to perform the services that are not readily performed at home, or anywhere in-between. In most cases, reproductive services for both mares and stallions occur through boarding at our facility or on an outpatient basis. The Center is headed by Philip M. Matthews, DVM.
